Extensive product range, huge variety of design options: it’s no secret that Solarlux products have plenty to offer in terms of design. So for this year’s Fensterbau Frontale trade fair, the northern German company has instead decided to focus on the functionality of its systems. In keeping with the theme of “Feel the difference”, Solarlux will be using the world-leading trade show for windows, doors and facades to demonstrate how well its products perform in everyday use – and why they’re so reliable.
Solarlux’s core product, the bi-folding door, will be showcased in three different scenarios in order to demonstrate the most important requirements when it comes to choosing windows: sound insulation, thermal insulation und impermeability. In a type of glass cabinet and sealed in using a two-panel bi-folding door three showcases will demonstrate: a boombox, a refrigerator and a sophisticated storm simulation machine. The Solarlux trade fair booth offers visitors a chance to feel for themselves how well the glazing keeps out the cold and stops a room from losing heat. Thanks to these showcases, everyone at the trade show will truly be able to “feel the difference” that Solarlux products offer.
But just because Solarlux is focusing on the technical details, don’t expect them to take shortcuts on comfort. Carefully harmonised touches such as birch trees and wooden benches will lend the trade fair booth an outdoor flair that visitors will love spending time in. The centrepiece of the booth will be the Acubis glass house, which will be built onto a life-sized wooden house with a matching wooden patio. The Woodline bi-folding door provides an accessible transition between the indoors and the outside. This will be presented in two different types of wood: sapele mahogany on the outside and maple on the inside.
In addition to this, two other exhibits at the booth will serve to show visitors how easy it is to use Solarlux products – even when they feature large and heavy glass elements. Both at 2.80 m tall, the cero sliding window and Highline aluminium bi-folding door will be on hand for visitors to try out for themselves. Thanks to their stainless steel carriages and intelligent engineering with optimum load transfer, the glass elements are easy to open and close.
